Dr Sizet Paul Marivate is the founder and managing member of MMIFC, a company involved in Business Management and ISO Facilitation Awareness Training, Research and Consultancy. To date, he has assisted about 6000 SMME’s operating in the sectors of Small Businesses, NPO’s and Cooperatives. He has completed his B.Com (Marketing Management) at the UP (University of Pretoria), MBL (Masters Business Leadership) at Unisa (University of South Africa) and finally D Tech Business Administration at TUT. He also holds a teacher’s training diploma – JSTC (Junior Secondary Teachers Diploma) obtained at the then Tivumbeni Training College in Nkowa-nkowa near Tzaneen (1996 – 1997). He also holds certificates in Practical Tendering Skills, Programme in Marketing and Market Research, and TQM (Total Quality Management) from Unisa. He is a Board member of SBCC, a NPO that focuses on assisting victims of substance abuse. He is currently a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Tshwane University of Technology. His area of interest is Innovation, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurial Finance, TQM and Social Entrepreneurship.
