Presentation by Prof Mammo Muchie at the 8th Globelics Conference.

"We have shifted from science to research. Science is certainity; Research is uncertainity. Science  is supposed to be cold, straight and detached; research is warm, involving and risky. Science puts an end to the vagaries of human disputes; Research fuels controversies by more controversies." …Bruno Latour. We need to build research capacity systematically in Africa.. Africa actually fits well with Bruno Latour’s idea of research-warm, involving and risky!

An outstanding share! I've just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was doing a little research on this.
And he actually bought me dinner simply because I stumbled upon it for him...

lol. So allow me to reword this.... Thanks for
the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending the time to talk about
this issue here on your site.

Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Safari, it looks fine but
when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, terrific blog!

Asking questions are actually nice thing if you are not understanding anything entirely, but this post offers nice understanding yet.

Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you
download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks
would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your theme.
    Many thanks

Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on websites I
stumbleupon every day. It's always useful to read articles from
other writers and practice something from their web sites.
